Upsy Daisy card!

oh so bright colors....

Hey there Amigas,

I thought I wouldn't have time to make a card this week but I did. I am so happy that I got my order in (thanks to Steph) The Upsy Daisy stamp set is adorable. I wanted to be creative with bright colors and different designs. This card is so bubbly. It didn't take that long to make, so that was a plus.

So, there you go...

Kristina's Color Challenge #19

Color Challenge:

I like this one...

Been a while since I participated in a color challenge, so I figured I'd jump in the band wagon and start working...Black is my favorite color "Black is beautiful," I truly believe that...And I also
chose orange as the color of my choice because I had this awesome orange ribbon that I bought from AC that I so wanted to use. The card is clean and fresh, not much to it. Again I did not add any sentiment, didn't picture it that way..

Another Mini Card...

side view.

tiny and elegant...

This may be the last mini card I make for the month. I don't use them much so, I hate to make a card that will just sit there :o(
I used the elegant eggplant card stock once more for this card. I had bought the oval scalloped punch (Marvy Uchida) a while back but didn't use until now. Because I wanted an extra touch to the main focal point of the card I went ahead and stamp a back ground to it, the argyle block from the SU! Looks Like Spring stamp set. second, I stamped the swirly stamp from the SU! Priceless stamp set, pheww. Last, came the paper flower from AC. Simple yet again.

One thing you'll notice about my cards is that some times there is no sentiment...That's because 1. I didn't imagine the card having writing and 2. Usually I make cards for no particular person or reason...

The tiny bluetiful card...

look from another angle...

The flower looks big but really isn't.

The tiny card fits into a SU! mini square envelope (3-1/8"X3-1/8") If you've noticed I've been using the blue floral (not sure what the right wording is) DP lately. I like the card because it's very symmetrical, my thought processing is like that, things have to be equal on both sides, especially for cards, can't seem to deviate from that, I try, really I do...

Once in a while I'll make tiny cards because there's not much to add to 'em. Happy Sunday!

A little blue here and there...

side view...

:o)

Steph says I'm on a roll with my card making, I'm starting to believe her, haha. This card has blue written all over it, not much of a blue fan but this card is bluetiful, haha. I love my scallop punch (have u noticed?), I'll try to use it all the time, I'm addicted to it.  I also used some of the blue AC ribbon that I used in the purple card (down below). Some DP are from AC and some from SU!. I must say I was looking at the SU! idea book and decided to match colors from it. I must sound crazy but this card should be on a Pottery Barn magazine featuring a beach house in the Hamptons, haha. I dunno, it has that feeling...

A Purple Card...

a closer look ...

:o)

Here is another card, created in a simple fashion. Really, there's not much to the card but I think the colors give way for a perfect match. I left the bottom piece of the center card  bare,so that my friend can write the appropriate sentiment...

The ribbon is from American Crafts, and of course the paper flower as well....

Take it easy y'all.... :o)

The Colors of home....

Up close...

Front View...

So, I am very excited about this card, it has that tropical look to it that reminds me of home. I can't quite figure out how I came up with this color combo but I did...it's awesome. I am also very proud of using the Kraft (wood color) card-stock! I decided to experiment with white ink on the card-stock and it came out fine, I had never used that technique in my cards. The flowers I used for the card are those cute paper flowers from American Crafts (got them at Archivers) and the hot pink ribbon from AC as well. Cool huh?

Let me know if you like ;o)

A Girly Bday Card!

From the side, I was trying to get the shimmer to shine :o)

Cute huh?

I told you more cards were along the way...This is yet just another one. I love this card because it was simple to make and very girly, awesome colors to combine and be creative with. I know my friend will like. I used the Fun Filled SU! stamp set and DP. i rarely use brown, so I am happy I could incorporate the color in this card :o)

Hope you like.

Birthday Cards coming...

Side View.

So from here on I will be posting tons of birthday cards as I create them. I am making them for a friend and I obliged, so I am super excited to see what I come up with. Here is another one, i bought a lot of designer paper from SU! that I have not experimented with, but I used some with this card. If you haven't noticed I adore polka dot DP. The ribbon is too, haha. Hope you like, let me know what you think!

Eat Cake!

Pheww! Been a while since I posted, let alone made a card. But this afternoon I felt inspired to make one. I went to Michael's and bought some amazing Martha Stewart ribbon, and let me tell you, it's awesome, simply because it's adhesive as well!!!! So I used some to use for the birthday card. I also used the eat cake felt "ticker", which is very easy to use.  I promise to post more often, next week is the last week of classes and I have two weeks to become creative again....
