A Halloween card today - so spooky! This is a card I actually made for publication but it didn't get picked up. I used Jenni Bowlin - Vintage Halloween themed patterned paper, and used the Cameo for the pocket card (3 pc bat Halloween card #31588) cut file. I also used Martha Stewart Halloween stamps I picked up last year at my local Michael's store and can you spy washi tape? I do have a stash from the Studio Calico kits I've bought this year, I do try to incorporate them on my cards.. I really like the card, it was easy to make and a plus for using my Cameo. Do you like? Let me know :) Just a quick post today.

Hi there peeps -
Yes, I'm alive and no, I haven't been washed away by the Colorado floods. It's been some really crazy weather lately, I mean, I'll take snow any day before rain. Only because our pup Luna refuses to go outside in the rain, and then, all that puppy energy is too much! Ha!
K - the card, I know - I'm a little bit late with all the PTI stamps, but, I luv the card, and I like the bright girly colors. I will say this card took forever to make, given all the different ink pads I used, the die cutting and assembling, yeah! But, it's worth it, I luv the card. Do you? Let me know! I hope stay dry and enjoy your wkend!

Hello peeps -
Another birthday card posting this wk! That's gunna be a record breaker in my book these days! The card is simple and sweet. I am really back to basics - make simple cards everyone will like. I used PTI (In&Out: Birthday) stamp set, as well as paper from Studio Calico (Northstar) add-on kit. I really like the bright girly colors of this card, easy to assemble if you were to make in bulk. You like? LEt me know.
Take it easy,

A birthday card today - I wanted to do a simple masculine birthday card using Studio Calico patterned paper I had stashed. I really like the sentiment because it's big enough to be the focal point of the card - it's from PTI (Inside & Out:Birthday II) stamp set. I also made another birthday card for a female, which I'll post later this week. I hope you are having a wonderful wend!
Take it easy,

Long time no see! Yes, it's true, I did abandon my blogs for months. Well, I shall explain -
1. I accidentally broke the link to all my pics from Flicker, now I have to figure out how to link my past pics unto Blogger (any ideas? Though you can see all of them from the Flickr badge to the middle right of this page) 2. I work and work, and work. Not proud of working soo much but I have to. 3. Lack of inspiration, I've been on a craft block for a while now, it comes and goes and it decided to stay for too long this time.
I decided to try to craft as much as I can again, I have even enrolled into some classes that I hope can bring my creative juices back to speed. I enrolled in Susan Weinroth's "Cutting Edge" class. I missed the class the first time it was offered, and since I have a Cameo I rarely use, I figured it would be a good chance to learn how to use the cutter and make it work. Wanna join me? See here for deets. (note* - I am NOT being paid to advertise this class, it was just a suggestion)
K, the card - I asked myself, what are the craft ladies up to these days ... where do they go for inspiration, ideas and where do they "socialize" in the blogging world? I search and wound up in a couple places (do let me know if I forgot to mention any hot spots out there) 1. CAS-ual Fridays blog 2. Case Study blog challenge and 3. Studio Calico blog (because they just have to do everything). I decided to challenge myself and make a CAS card and use text on Kraft card stock (CFC113), because that's what Michelle said. So? did I succeed? I used Kelly Purkey (Halloween) stamp set and tiny gems to dress up the card, you like? Halloween is just around the corner, Archivers reminded me the first minute I walked into their store and bam - everything Halloween themed. crazy.
Well, I need your feedback, feel free to leave a comment and welcome me back into the bloggin world, I admit, I need reassurance some times that someone out there is randomly stumbling into my blog (once a year is fine)
Take it easy,
