Anyhoot, the card - I made using the PTI hexagon die for part of the background. I really like the die and coupled with the dual patterned paper, I think this birthday card came out well! The patterned paper is from Crate Paper. I hope you like the card too!

I have a card to share today using Poppy Sketches #1 challenge. If you followed my blog or knew of my blog a while back, you'd have known that I was a 2S4U DT member and was very excited to know Laura was back at it again. Here's my rendition of the sketch challenge, and I used Crate Paper (oh Darling) paper collection. I really kept the card simple and tried to adhere to the sketch as much as I could. Let me know what you think, and do stop by the NEW Poppy Sketches blog to join in on the fun!
*PS: since Flickr is no longer hosting sharing capabilities with Blogger - I can't link my Flickr posts directly, please note card supplies info below. Also, sorry about the picture quality, we moved to a new home and I'm experimenting with the lighting when I photograph my cards.
card supplies: Crate Paper (Oh Darling) paper collection, Studio Calico wood veneers, Martha Stewart score board, Hero Arts (black) ink, PTI sentiment stamp.

A birthday card here today! Let me start off by saying that this card is inspired by no other than Ms. Wida Miller (Beachorado). I received new stamps sets this week and was eager to try them out. I quickly channeled Wida's style - when I think of Wida's card, there are stamped backgrounds, die cutting, layering and lots of colors. I think I did well huh? I really wanted to use the hexagon background and I ran it through the die cutting machine once and it didn't cut all the way, well, I made it work anyways! I'm very happy with the end results :) Do click on the pic for list of supplies. Do let me know what you think!

I hope you are having a wonderful wkend so far, I am. Here's another Mother's Day card that I made this past week. I got brand new stamp sets from Papertrey Ink (Rose Posie) and a few others specifically for mother's day. I have a goal for making tons of 'em and sharing it with co-workers, another way of keeping the creative thoughts flowing. What do you think? Do you like? I hope you do. The set is really fun to work it and here's why, the layers of colors on the roses and leaves really does add an effect to the card and I luv the results. Anyhoot - are you making Mother's Day cards?

hello there peeps,
A birthday card today for a cute lil 2 year old. I was asked by my neighbor to make one for her grandchild who is turning 2 next week. I don't really do well with kids cards, but I think this one turned out quite well, don't you think? Mainly I used Crate Paper (Pretty Party) paper, from my DT days, that I had in stash, and was happy to use what I already had :) Do you like? I think all that's left is a sentiment on the inside and that's it! Let me know what you think!

A card today! Yes, I've been crafting like a mad woman lately, and that's because I'm on a mission to make beautiful mother's day cards this year. Actually, I've already had people request them at work. The card is using PTI (Bold Bouquet) stamp set, Crate Paper patterned paper and inks from Stampin' Up!
I actually made these while visiting Danielle Flanders (Homespun with Heart) at her home this wkend and was able to visit her home and family with Wida Miller (Beachorado). We had so much fun seeing her place and getting to see where she makes her lovely and inspiring projects - thanks Danielle!
Do let me know if you like the card, the colors are really bright and so is the paper, I'm sure any mom would be happy to get these cards.

Another valentine's day card using Crate Paper (Love Notes) collection and PTI (with All My Heart) stamp set and coordinating dies. The card is really simple but I went all out with the pattern combo. All the valentine's day cards I make, I'll take to work so that co-workers can take their pick for loved ones. I find this is a good idea for people to put cards to good use :) Just a quick note today!

Another Valentine's Day card today. I am using goodies from Crate Paper (Love Notes) paper collection, enamel dots, punched hearts and date stamp. I really like the white hearts for a change, usually I'll cut them read, but figured this was a more subtle look. You like? let me know what you think!

I hope you are having a good new year so far! This year, well - lots of good things for me and the hubby - a NEW house! Yes, we are finally becoming home owners and ready to take on 2014 with a bang. Hubby and I are very excited, in just a couple months, we will have a house of our own to decorate and share with fam and friends. My goal is that we have them come visit us, the house is too nice for just the two of us - I want to have dinner parties, craft parties and more with this home. How about you, what new for you this yr?
Ok, the card, i luv all the goodies on it! I used the Cameo for the hearts, using red vellum and rhinestone gems and Crate Paper (Fourteen) paper I had in stash. Like it? Let me know ... Before you know it - it's Valentine's Day!
